Freestyle Worldcup Start

The freestylers make the beginning, on the weekend of October 20 and 21, 2023, the first athletes start with the freeski team in the World Cup season. At the Big Air in Chur, fantastic atmosphere and spectacular duels are pre-programmed. So high time to introduce our World Cup Squad in more detail.

The Freestyle Worldcup season kicks off

With the Big Air Worldcup in Chur, Switzerland, on the 20th and 21st of October the Freestyle season kicks off with a big bang! But Fischer has already provided a first big bang before the season by signing one of the best freestylers of all time as a team rider in the Nightstick World Cup Team. But not only the reinforcement by the Swiss Mathilde Gremaud lets us look forward to the new season with a lot of anticipation, because also the already existing team riders around Vice World Champion Lukas Müllauer and Olympian Tyler Harding, as well as the hopeful young riders from the Ski Austria squad, Julius Fahrer and Noah Schallert, go into the season with the best possible shape and conditions.

Before the season officially kicks off, we wanted to present you the Fischer Freestyle Worldcup Squad in more detail so that you exactly know, for who you're cheering for! If you can't make it to be on site, be sure to tune in for the first competition in Chur before the World Cup circus moves on to Stubai for the first Worldcup stop in Austria.

Off to new heights with Mathilde Gremaud. The signing of one of the most successful Freeskiers in history definitely shook up the scene and we can't wait to see Mathilde get into action on her Fischer Nightsticks.
The Fribourg (CH) based Slopestyle and Big Air specialist already gained a long list of achievements including three Olympic Podiums (Silver in Pyeongchang 2018, Gold and Bronze in Peking 2022), two World Championship Podiums (Silver in Aspen 2021, Gold in Bakuriani 2023) and many Worldcup podiums and wins.
We definitely hope to be able to continue this successful story together!

It's already the second season on Fischer for the Austrian top athlete in Freestyle, Lukas Müllauer. And the 22/23 season already included one of the highlights of his career so far, the silver medal at the World Championships in Big Air in Bakuriani (GEO). But Lukas already has a World Cup victory in the trophy cabinet, he won the Big Air Contest in Quebec 2019. We are convinced that Lukas can continue his successful season!

Tyler hails from Halifax, England, and brings more internationality to the World Cup Squad. He was part of the British Olympic Team for the competitions in Pyeongchang 2018 and made his World Cup debut back in 2013 at Silvaplana (CH). The likeable Brit has a lot planned for the coming season and we will support him in the best possible way.

Julius Fohrer & Noah Schallert

With Julius Fohrer and Noah Schallert we also have two promising young talents in the team, who both come from the Ski Austria squad and will certainly be seen more often on the very big World Cup stage in the coming World Cup year.
