STURLA HOLM LÆGREID JOINS THE NORDIC RACE TEAM
New Season, new partnership: Biathlon star Sturla Holm Lægreid will race with ONE WAY poles in the upcoming season, joining and strengthening the successful Nordic Race Team.
ONE WAY is excited to welcome such high-caliber talent: the 28-year-old Norwegian will be part of the biathlon team this season. “I tested the Premio 40 on snow, and it quickly became clear to me that I want to race with this pole in future competitions,” says Lægreid.

Lægreid is considered one of the brightest talents in international biathlon. Early in his career, he won multiple Junior World Championship titles and steadily worked his way to the top of the sport. Numerous World Championship gold medals, World Cup podiums, and strong Olympic performances underscore his exceptional status. Last season, he capped off his year as Overall World Cup Champion.
“We are proud to have Sturla join ONE WAY. He will definitely enrich our team, and we wish him great success with the new pole set-up,” says Gerhard Urain, Head of Nordic Racing. More than 100 athletes are part of the strong Nordic Race Team – with this new partnership, Sturla joins biathlon stars such as Franziska Preuß (GER), Quentin Fillon Maillet (FRA), and Dorothea Wierer (ITA).
